Yeah, I only really threw the deck together because it was pretty cheap, plus I'm a fan of the Goblin Arsonist->Goblin Grenade->Brimstone Volley line of play (my other deck is Tempered Steel). I went 2-2 with it at FNM; beat G/W Humans and Township tokens, lost to what looked like a W/U equip homebrew (with Venser main and Spellskite and Norn's Annex from the sideboard) and U/W control with Timely Reinforcements, Day of Judgment, and Druidic Satchel maindeck. I'm also pretty sporadic with my play (I'll lose matches to epic punts and other times play really tight), so I might have thrown away a win or two due to missing the Battle cry interaction with Spikeshot Elder. I haven't tested against any of the Wolf Run matchups yet, but I agree, the Slagstorm version is probably a worse matchup.

You are trying to get set up and they just wrath your board. The RDW version is much stronger because they typically just play a threat maybe turn one and two and then add burn and shrines. Running Goblins you lose Chandras Phoenix which is strong against Wolf Run. Also you lose Stromkirk, the second best one drop ever next to goblin guide, and Stormblade Berserker. Basically by playing Goblins you are hoping to burn them out with Goblin Grenade, Shrine and Brimstone Volley which can work but is rough because you want to be tapping out for threats each turn. I think Goblins is poorly positioned right now so I might try a RDW build.

Here's my list, for reference:

4 Shrine of Burning Rage

4 Goblin Grenade
4 Brimstone Volley
4 Incinerate
2 Arc Trail

4 Goblin Arsonist
4 Goblin Wardriver
4 Goblin Fireslinger
4 Goblin Chieftain
4 Spikeshot Elder
2 Hero of Oxid Ridge

20 Mountain

Sideboard:
4 Manic Vandal
3 Act of Aggression
2 Dismember
2 Arc Trail
2 Vulshok Refugee
2 Perilous Myr

I'm not a fan of the Myrs, so I'll probably cut them and sub in Gut Shot instead. Depending on the meta, I'm also looking at Koth, Contested War Zone, and Phyrexian Metamorph (if I really need to kill Thrun or Geist). Not sure if some number of Arc Trail/Incinerate should be subbed out MD/SB for Shock/Galvanic Blast either.
