I typically shy away from foils for this sort of thing, especially for the PTQ season dump. I dont know that foils get the high premium at ptqs like regular copies do. I could be wrong, on that, I do know that foil fanatics always are around, unless you have an outlet for it, may be tough to move it on perfect timing with a price spike. Gambit seems okay, there's just a lot of stuff competing with it, and as far as non-blue decks go, very few actually want this card. I'm not so sure I'm sold on stashing these.

As a Marvel card collector I love the analogy. I have been picking up as many copies as possible of many of the cards on your list for a while now and I'm completely with you on everything except I do feel like (while a higher price currently) Tezzerets Gambit seems to have an AMAZING upside that could be completely insane. Curious about your opinion on it (I know you said Phyrexian mana spells, but..). Also how do you feel about foils of all your picks???? As good, or not worth the higher gamble????

To be fair, I didn't give it much thought. Could be one worth adding to your pool of spec's, but IMO it doesn't quite cut it because even if it does see play (which it does from time to time) it typically isn't mroe than 1 or 2 copies. There certainly is a metagame possibility where tons of decks might run it, and it woudl see a bump. You really want cards that become auto-include staples in at least a couple decks, and ideally as 3-4 copies each.
