I think you\’re headed where the meta is headed, frankly, and Jace dropped from $50 to $40 on PDM.com already.

I knew I was forgetting something! I was planning to write about why I’m not playing Farseek but is slipped my mind. Basically it was worse than a land every time I drew it. There is no real reason to accelerate into anything in the deck outside of Thragtusk, but generally it’s better to just curve out Healer/D-Sphere, Angel/Healer/D-Sphere, Thragtusk against decks where you’d want a fast Thragtusk anyway. It was always awkward when I wanted to cast a Sphinx’s Revelation and drew Farseek for the turn. The card more or less felt like a complete do-nothing.

As far as making bigger Revelations, you usually just cast the first one for two-three and that enables you to make more land drops and the subsequent Revelations get pretty big naturally.

As for the sideboard, I recommend having access to the fourth Dissipate and a couple more Negates for control, some more Supreme Verdicts for GW/monored, some Azorius Arresters for the aggressive decks (card is actually good) and some Ray of Revelations as a solution to a few fringe strategies like the Invisible Stalker deck that bank on enchantments.

Good luck with the deck! Let me know how you like it without the walkers.

New member here…just wanted to say i found your list interesting. I currently play bant control with 6 walkers. I may take them out this friday and see how it runs. I think your list needs farseek for ramp/thinning/bigger revelations, so i will prolly trim a bit here and there to add them…have you considered? Also what does your board look like?

Thx 🙂
