I went to a local shop and scooped up some zombies and tokens and have played a rough deck today. I was thinking this could be like D&D with various quests and levels. Now I’m reading this and hope to learn from it and maybe report back with something fun. My family was already thinking about a halloween horde deck with witches, cats, rats, bats and more.
Thanks for this format. It’s a lot of fun for a change from head to head.

]]>My preferred horde builds are all about the flavor – obviously zombies, as I’m quite into The Walking Dead; but also dragons as a Skyrim / Reign of Fire experience; saprolings, because in Fallen Empires, the elves used saprolings as a food source until the fungi overran their civilization; and slivers, because I think the slivers swarmed multiple times in Magic’s history, but I know less about that. They just seem like good horde deck villains.
