Thanks 😀
]]>Usually, I keep the cards until necessary. Here, since it was decided from the beginning that it would be 9 months I kept the cards until the end of April. And for some positions it didn’t make sense to sell at the end of April, but that was the rules of this portfolio.
For most of my positions, I try to have a time AND a price goal. If my target price is reach sooner than expected it is very likely that I’m going to sell (which happened with several of the Modern positions here). And if my goal is a certain month or season, I’ll sell then whatever the price is.
]]>What I wonder is if it is normal to stipulate a period of time to open and close a portfolio? Or if it is normal to keep the cards as long as necessary to get the maximum profit? Thanks.
]]>Hi!
Thank for your comments and questions. No worries with your english, this is not my native language either (I’m french) and I know it’s really not easy at first.
For your question, I’m not totally sure I understood it. Could you reformulate it please?
Sorry for my English. Thank you very much: D

Theories and Ideas (that I had before this project, and that I have modified now) will more discussed in following articles dealing with each categories for instance. There is many many many things to say, to keep it short here I “only” presented all the data and tried to interpret some of these.
I will probably not repeat this experiment as a whole, but I will certainly invest next summer in those same categories, with this time a better idea of what I’m doing and what to expect. Maybe I’ll comment the next year results in a series of article in 2015? 🙂
]]>You had a really great project. Thanks for collecting all this data and present it very clearly! This makes MTGO speculation theory really scientific!
you don’t show many new theories or ideas, but you delivered hard numbers to prove the theories.
I truly have a lot of respect for what you did here!
Are there plans to repeat this?
