I saw this question posed the other day on some form of social media, and it got me thinking. I've done a lot of trading in my day, and while most of it has been for Magic cards or other Magic-related items, I know there are some stories out there that end differently.
You guys probably know the story of Jonathan Medina and how he traded cards for an Ipad a few years ago. While I can't match that, I was offered a trade of a Damnation for a Gamecube and a pair of controllers last week. As a huge fan of that system and some of the games, I was definitely intrigued by the deal and am still considering it.
Anyway, I know I'm not the only one with this kind of story, so share with us here: What is the coolest thing you've ever traded a Magic card for?
I traded some cards for a PS3 and a set of controllers a few years back. Worked out pretty nicely.
I traded a mono-black devotion deck for a 1994 ford escort wagon about 3 months ago…… still driving it…..
What got me back into playing magic was me trading a set of revised into thrift store for a almost brand new lawn mower. The store had started doing magic because a friend of the owner recommended it to him. I had so much much credit left over I ended up playing magic again since I didn’t really need anything else.
When I was ass-broke and couldn’t afford groceries I traded a Banefire for a bunch of White Castle cheeseburgers.
Thats pretty op zeke
marvel dice masters. roll some dice
A year ago I traded a Bazaar of Baghdad and some standard cards for a baseball signed by ten 500 HR hitters, including Ted Williams and Mickey Mantle.
