The issue is that it’s not easy to quantify the “Unseen Hand of Magic.” Most speculators don’t have a store where you can look at quantity or price of what they are hoarding. It’s so hard to trace back and pinpoint, so it could EASILY be the main driving point.

Also, I really, truly believe that the biggest reason that we are not seeing the pricing we were expecting is speculation. Instead of the prices being driven up by actual demand they were artificial inflated by people looking to make money. The cards are settling into their “actual” worth, not the over inflated prices they were getting.
