Interesting take on a tournament report. I would have liked a bit more details but the mental prep part was right in line with where I’ve been lately as well. Some of my friends go with me to GP’s, like this weekend, and just go to have fun. “I never make day 2.” But with that attitude, they probably won’t. Well written explanation of keeping a positive mental state and I advocate this highly.

You can say that Konstantin was in the same frame of mind. Even though he lost to you in the top8 yesterday and lost to you in the swiss, he learned from his mistakes and thought that he can win when it mattered in the RPTQ quarterfinals and so he was able to win.
