If you’re enjoying draw-go style with Search for Azcanta then UW Control is probably your thing. It sits there, plays lands and counters spells until you decide to drop a planeswalker and win. There are plenty of lists floating around the ‘net. This list made Top 16 in Cincinnati if you need a starting point: http://sales.starcitygames.com//deckdatabase/displaydeck.php?DeckID=116823

You mentioned non-obvious deck transitions between the formats (i.e. Rally the Ancestors > Company, New Perspectives > Ad Nauseum). I’m having some trouble picking a Modern deck for myself and hoped you could provide advice.

Currently I’m playing UB Control in Standard (http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/ub-azcanta-control-2/). I’ve tried Mono-U Tron and Jeskai Tempo/Control in Modern. I’m only mildly engaged with these two choices.

Do you have a better, maybe non-obvious deck transition suggestion for someone that enjoys traditional draw-go control?
