Chris, Modern staples are a good bet- they are in high-demand, and won’t rotated away like Standard cards, while Legacy cards might be too niche.

My question is what would be 1 or 2 cards around $100 that will sell fast so I can get some of my money back quick? I have around $250 – $300 in credit so I’m looking to purchase 1-4 cards thanks!

Takes some time though.
