Thalia just doesn’t do much in most matchups. A 2/1 First Strike doesn’t win a lot of combats and doesn’t get any tribal benefits in this deck. Most Modern decks don’t care that much if their removal costs 1 or 2 and it’s harder to tax mana when everyone isn’t cantripping at least once a turn like Legacy. The only matchups where she’s really stood out for me are KCI and Jeskai Ascendancy, and neither are big enough players to warrant her in the main or sideboard.

I’ve only played as Bant so I don’t have experience with the card maindeck, but Thalia is one of the cards I’m scared of that’s in UW but not Bant with my main deck, BtL Scapeshift. I’ve noticed some other lists shifting off of Thalia and wanted to know why.
