It’s what gives the card liquidity, which is always a big deal when it comes to collectibles. Too much buylist can also have the negative impact of having too many copies being thrown into the market. Their value is determined by scarcity, and they’re pretty expensive which means that they take time to sell. Too much time in the market they’ll eventually drop. It’s a natural aspect of the collectible market. People like to cash in when the card reaches a high peak. Then the card drops back down and somebody grabs them. They’ll buy it is because they intend to keep it. I like to hold them, but once in a while I do some buylist mostly to grab another card I’m interest in.
