Corbin Hosler
Corbin Hosler is a journalist living in Norman, Oklahoma (also known as the hotbed of Magic). He started playing in Shadowmoor and chased the Pro Tour dream for a few years, culminating in a Star City Games Legacy Open finals appearance in 2011 before deciding to turn to trading and speculation full-time. He writes weekly at QuietSpeculation.com and biweekly for LegitMTG. He also cohosts Brainstorm Brewery, the only financial podcast on the net. He can best be reached @Chosler88 on Twitter.
It seems spoiler season has sneaked up on us faster than usual with Dragons of Tarkir. Corbin surveys the new cards we’ve seen so far, as well as announcing a new project he’ll be reporting on in his column.
Corbin reviews some of his calls on casual cards from six months ago, discussing which to move and which to hold. He also has his eye on some new casual targets for mid- to long-term gains.
Corbin takes a big picture approach today to go over several topics that have surfaced this year in Magic finance, from the Spring bump to TCGPlayer’s decision to start selling foreign cards.
